The Foundation for Regional Development Ltd provides a range of services and programs to promote and develop regional Australia. This includes the operation of the Country & Regional Living Expo which is the vehicle for providing Sydney residents with information about the diversity and wealth of opportunity available throughout regional New South Wales.

To ensure the successful management of the business of the Foundation for Regional Development Ltd including the operation of the Expos; we have appointed a group of people who we consider to be experts in their field of regional development, event management, public relations and media management.

We at the Foundation for Regional Development Ltd., aim to continue to grow and develop further developing our knowledge and expertise.

Peter Bailey - Chief Executive Officer

Peter is the founder of the Country & Regional Living Expos (previously known as Country Week) he has a great enthusiasm for regional development and supporting communities to grow and prosper.

Peter has an incredible passion and understanding of regional issues including population shift, employment, provision of services, development and regional marketing.  Peter believes in, and promotes decentralisation as a key policy for Governments at both a State and Federal levels.

Peter has lived and successfuly worked in regional Australia for most of his life and enjoys his rural lifestyle now living on a few acres in the New England region of NSW.

Jenny Bailey - Consultant

As a Consultant to the Foundation Jenny attends the Expos and travels with husband Peter when he is undertaking information or training sessions in regional areas.  Jenny provides strategic advice and support to the team.

Jenny worked full time within the Foundation for Regional Development and on the Expos since 2004 and was a key executive in the team until she began her transition into retirement after a serious car accident in 2009.

Lynne Price-Purnell - Project Manager - Country & Regional Living Expo

In recent years after her own “Tree Change” Lynne has moved not only her home and family but her career, she is using her previous experience as an Exhibitor at Careers Markets & Fairs to good use within the Foundation for Regional Development.  Lynne has years of experience in various aspects of Human Resources; including recruitment, change management, performance management, payroll, industrial relations, relocation assistance and succession planning.  Her experience is vast from multinationals to boutique companies.

Lynne brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm for the success of the Foundation's goals and enjoys meeting the various Exhibitors at the Country & Regional Living Expo.

Craig Wright - Project Manager - Farmers Direct

Craig has joined the Foundation after many years within his family's business, bringing with him the enthusiasm that is enhanced through years of working hard for yourself!

At the 2011 Country & Regional Living Expo, Craig was very successful in his management of the Event from introducing the seminars to helping the exhibitors with any logistical issues.  Craig certainly adds great value to the team!

David Carse - Webmaster

David has been working with FRDL since late 2010. He is responsible for creating and managing the websites of the Foundation, this one and www.crlexpo.com.au

David with his young family moved to the New England in  early 2009 and now calls Inverell home!

The Foundation is something David believes in and is happy to contribute to, for the many reasons that FRDL promote; better lifestyle, schools, nature and affordable housing.
